Women Avoid Major Injuries in Farmington Crash

Two women escaped serious injury when their vehicle went off the road and landed sideways in a ditch Tuesday afternoon in the Farmington area.

The one-vehicle wreck happened at the intersection of county roads 200 and 177 at around 3:30 p.m.

The two women were assisted out of the vehicle and declined to be transported from the scene by ambulance, said Farmington Fire Chief Jeremy Childers.

The Farmington Fire Department, the sheriff’s office and other responders worked the crash scene.
