The storm brought tornado warnings to numerous counties in Northeast Mississippi on Thursday afternoon.
In Prentiss County, a barn was destroyed, an abandoned home was damaged, power lines were knocked down and trees fell, said Prentiss County Emergency Management Director Bud Lindsey.
Much of the Prentiss County damage was around the intersection of county roads 5031 and 5131, between Booneville and Wheeler, Lindsey said.
No injuries were reported in Prentiss County, Lindsey added.

The inclement weather was a remnant of Hurricane Harvey, which has caused catastrophic damage in Houston, Texas.
