Selmer Police last week investigated an alleged aggravated assault incident involving a gun at a gas pump.
Police responded to the gas station on Mulberry Avenue at about 3 p.m. Friday and spoke with the alleged victim.
The alleged victim said Brandon Marshall, 27, of Selmer, approached him concerning money issues related to a vehicle accident several months ago.
Marshall allegedly demanded $900 and said he would take care of the matter “right now,” according to the police report.
“Marshall then obtained a small gun from the glove compartment of his vehicle,” the report adds.
Marshall reached into the alleged victim’s car and took a plastic bag containing merchandise and left, the report says.
At the time of the incident, the alleged victim’s wife was present as well as two small children. The alleged victim’s wife and Marshall work at the same place of business in Selmer.
Marshall had left the scene by the time police arrived, the report states.
