Sunscreen dispensers have been placed around Crossroads Regional Park in Corinth thanks to a partnership between Magnolia Pediatric Clinic and the Corinth-Alcorn Parks & Recreation Department.
The dispensers are motion-activated and contain SPF 30 sunscreen for people to use.
“We are excited about the opportunity to provide the dispensers for the many visitors at the park to use,” said Ben Tucker, director of marketing and public relations at Magnolia Regional Health Center. “Many families spend several hours at the park for tournaments and various other activities, often not having sunscreen for protection during peak sunlight hours.”
Tucker added, “Our pediatric providers are always looking for opportunities to impact the lives of children and families in the region. We’re thankful the park staff shared our vision and helped make this addition to our already fantastic park system.”
Parks Director Robin Baker said, “Many families will benefit greatly from these new dispensers. We’re excited to work with the team at MRHC and provide this service for the increasing number of visitors we have each year.”
