Sony has announced that it will sell the original PlayStation in a miniature size as the gaming system nears its 25th anniversary.
“Today, we are excited to announce that we are bringing back the original PlayStation experience in a new miniaturized version – PlayStation Classic! The console will come pre-loaded with 20 classic titles, including fan-favorites such as Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms,” Sony announced on its website.
The mini version will be about half the size of the original but a have a similar look. It will sell for $99.99.
The original PlayStation was the first home console in video game history to ship 100 million units worldwide and featured 3D graphics, according to Sony.
