Single moms in Corinth will be pampered with free massages, dessert and discounts , the owner of Emerson Kate Boutique in the SoCo District said.

Emerson Kate Boutique, 508 Wick St., does something special for a different group each month, said owner Chelsea Brown.

There will be free gifts and giveaways for single-moms, and a massage therapist and nail technician will be in the store.

It will be a great chance for single-moms to network, set up play dates for children and exchange babysitting information, Brown noted. Emerson Kate Boutique features an open layout ideal for social occasions.

Single-moms deserve more thank-yous for all they do, said Brown, whose own mother is a single mom. Brown encourages friends of single-moms to bring them to the event Friday.

It’s called the Single-Moms Birthday Party because the women are encouraged to party like it’s their birthday, Brown said.

There will be free snacks and wine, and attendees will receive a coupon for a free dessert at Pizza Grocery.

Emerson Kate Boutique will also offer 10 percent discounts store wide. SnowyLove Boutique and Baxter & Co. are also participating.
