A Kossuth Middle School coach was arrested at the school Wednesday afternoon, according to Alcorn County Sheriff Ben Caldwell.
No formal charges have been filed, but the arrest was related to allegations of controlled substance possession and public intoxication, Caldwell added.
Sheriff’s office investigators arrested the coach at around 2 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing, Caldwell said.
The sheriff said he would release more information once he is able to do so.
