Cars for Less Fire Fills Sky With Black Smoke

A fire was reported at Cars for Less in the area of U.S. Highway 72 West and State Highway 2 on Wednesday, according to Ricky Gibens, Alcorn County emergency management director.
There were no known injuries, Gibens said.
Motorists traveling on U.S. Highway 72 West could see a large amount of smoke in the distance to the north.
A reader captured a video from the highway as the thick smoke billowed into the air west of Magnolia Regional Health Center.
Smoke was still visible from the Strickland area near Glen.

The red pointer is the location of Cars for Less, north of U.S. Highway 72 and west of Magnolia Regional Health Center.

    what was exactly burning was tires or some old junk tires?

      The crusher sparked and caught a car on fire and the man driving the crusher did not know what to do so he threw the car in the pile of cars
