The services for Mr. Billy Wayne Spencer, Sr., 69, will be 2pm Tuesday December 19, 2017, at Jesus Name Community Church. Interment will be in church cemetery. Brother Gary Porterfield will be officiating the service.
Visitation will be 5pm Monday December 18, 2017 till service time Tuesday at the church.
He passed from this life Sunday December 17, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Mr. Spencer was born in Tippah County, Mississippi on April 24, 1948, to William and Gracie Smith Mullins. He was a logger by trade. He was a member of Jesus Name Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son: James Smith, his brothers: James Spencer, William Spencer, and Dewey Mullins.
Those to carry on his memory is his loving wife: Patsy Smith Spencer of Walnut, his sons: Billy Wayne Spencer, Jr. wife Sandra Rena of Walnut, Christopher Smith wife Cynthia of Walnut, and Daniel Smith wife Paula of Pope, two daughters: Delores Ann Betterton of Walnut and Deborah Denise Tillery husband Larry of Southaven, two sisters: Helen Faulkner of Corinth and Evelyn Dixon of Walnut, his grandchildren:Chasity Breanna Spencer, Jonathan Tyler Spencer, Crystal Smith, Colton Wade Betterton, Tammy Russell, Christopher Smith, Alan Smith, Andrew Smith, Shannon Spencer, and Brandon Tillery, and 7 great grandchildren: Christopher Butler, Christian Russell, Joey Copen, River Lynn Smith, Makenzie Spencer, Joshua Spencer, and Kenny Smith.
Pallbearers are Colton Hicks, Zack Robertson, Martin Watson, Alan Smith, Tyler Spencer, and Joe Copen and honorary pallbearers are Jimbo Mercer, Trey Mercer, Trent Mercer, and Johnny Spencer.
