A vehicle crash occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on U.S. Highway 72 East in Glen on Thursday morning.
The extent of the injuries was unclear, but a person was put into an ambulance and the airbags deployed.
The vehicle came to rest in the grass next to the highway’s eastbound lane. The wreck occurred near the Glen Town Hall.
The Glen Fire Department was assisted by the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office, Magnolia Ambulance and fire departments from Farmington and Burnsville.
