Two Alcorn Central High School dancers and two cheerleaders have been invited to perform at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.
Cheerleaders Natalie Gardner and Kaylyn Lavender and dancers Mallie Kate Williams and Serenity Rorie will represent the Memphis-based Varsity Spirit camp.
They are among 800 high school cheerleaders and dancers from across the nation who will represent Varsity Spirit in the third annual Varsity Spirit Spectacular at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Those invited to perform are part of a select group of 10th to 12th grade captains, co-captains and officers who attended a Varsity Spirit summer camp this summer and held leadership roles. These camps were hosted by Universal Cheerleaders Association, Universal Dance Association, National Cheerleaders Association, National Dance Alliance and United Spirit Association.
The girls will perform in a pre-parade performance through Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park before hundreds of fans.
