A graveside service for Edna Earl Orr, 89, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Henry Cemetery with burial to follow.
Family will receive friends on Friday at Memorial Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the graveside service.
There will also be a memorial service Friday at 5:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Orr died on November 12, 2017 at her residence. She was born on May 5, 1928 in Aberdeen, MS to the late Elmer Greenly and Thelma Crouch Stockton. She received her bachelor’s degree in education from University of Southern Mississippi and went on to be a longtime school teacher at various schools in the area. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing Bridge in her spare time.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robin Orr and a sister, Ann Walasek.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Taylor Orr; Aunt, Brenda Kay Andrews and a nephew, Richard Anthony.
Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
