Dolan E. Bugg

Dolan died February 6, 2016 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. He was born February 17, 1934 in Tishomingo Co. MS. to the late Daniel and Katie Phillips Bugg. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a faithful member of Waldron Street Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, bingo and “jabber jawing” wherever he went.

Dolan had an unsurpassed work ethic. He was frugal throughout his life, yet displayed unlimited grace and generosity. Early in life he worked at Wilson Packing Co. in Memphis, TN., before relocating to Corinth, to co-own Corinth Meat Co. He worked for many years as a driver for Dean Truck Line. He also worked at ITT Telecommunitions and retired from Star Paper Tube.

Preceded in death by his wife Rita Lois Bugg; parents; brother Houston Bugg; sister Nola Mae Shoffner.

He is survived by his son Dr. D. Doran Bugg and his wife Kristie; grandchildren Benjamin Doran Bugg, Marylee Bugg all of Dallas, TX. brothers Dennis Bugg (Victoria Harris); Ray Bugg (Velma) all of Iuka, MS; sister Jodie Moon of Hot Springs, AR.

Honorary pallbearers Mike Simmons, Ethan Simmons, David Mullens, Lennis Nowell, and James Durbin.

Family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M.to service time Thursday at Waldron St. Christian Church .
