Alcorn Boys, Girls Basketball Teams Beat Hickory Flat Friday

bballIt was a winning night for the girls and boys basketball teams from Alcorn Central High School on Friday.

The Alcorn Central Bears boys basketball team beat the Hickory Flat Rebels 60-58 in a non-conference game at home.

The win brought the Bears’ record to 11-12, and they play again on Tuesday at New Albany, which is 12-10.

The lady Bears also won 59-37. That brought the girls’ team record to 15-9, and they play the New Albany Bulldogs (6-17) on Tuesday.
