Corinth Boys Basketball Team Gets Second Loss of Season, by One Point

hoopLosing only the second game of the season is tough, but losing it by just on point is tougher.

The Corinth Boys basketball team lost 77-76 at home versus the Shannon Red Raiders (16-9) in a conference game Thursday.

That brought the Corinth Warriors’ record to 21-2 and 9-1 in district play.

The Warriors’ next game is next Friday in a non-conference game versus the Tupelo Golden Wave (21-3) at 7:30 p.m.

The lady Warriors won their game against Shannon (10-8) on Thursday 46-43. This brought the Corinth girl’s team record to 12-9 and 7-3 in district.

The girls team will play Tupelo (17-7) at 6 p.m.
