Biggersville Boys Beat Pine Grove

basketball2The Biggersville Lions boys basketball team defeated Pine Grove 81-71 Monday in a home conference game.

The win against the 8-15 Pine Grove Panthers gave the Lions a winning record of 11-10.

The Biggersville girls fell 54-50 to Pine Grove, bringing the record for the lady Lions to 14-7.

Biggersville was originally going to play Pine Grove on Tuesday, but the game was moved up due to inclement weather that was in the forecast.

The Kossuth High School Aggies were scheduled to play at Ripley on Tuesday but that game was pushed to Thursday due to the weather.

Likewise, the Corinth Warriors were set to play at home on Tuesday versus the Shannon Red Raiders in a conference game, but that game will now be played Thursday as well.
