Corinth Boys Basketball Team Defeats Booneville Friday

The Corinth High School boys basketball team defeated the Booneville Blue Devils (12-6) on the road Friday night 74-47 in a non-conference game.

With a 21-1 record (9-0, district), the Warriors will face off against the Shannon Red Raiders (15-9) on Tuesday in a home conference game at 7:30 p.m.

The lady Warriors (11-9) fell to Booneville 59-45 on Friday and will play the 10-7 Red Raiders Tuesday in Corinth at 6 p.m.

In other Friday night action, the Biggersville boys Lions (10-10) defeated Thrasher (2-15) 84-69 in a home conference game. Their next game is Tuesday versus Pine Grove at home at 7:30 p.m.

The Biggersville girls (14-6) beat Thrasher (0-14) 85-45 on Friday and play Pine Grove (13-9) Tuesday.

After a 61-43 conference game loss at New Site (16-8) on Friday, the Kossuth High School boys team is now 12-10. The Kossuth Aggies’ next game is Tuesday at Ripley (15-5).

The lady Aggies (10-12) also lost to the New Site Royals (21-4) 85-46 on Friday.

On Tuesday, the lady Aggies will play at Ripley (12-7).
