The community is invited to a free baby shower event with prizes, snacks, punch and breastfeeding information Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Shiloh Apothecary, 2049 E. Shiloh Road, Corinth.

Free swag bags with coupons and sample items will be given to the first 50 people who walk through the door, said Stephanie Mathis, who owns the pharmacy with her husband, Raymond.

A lactation consultant from the hospital will also be at the event to answer questions about bras and breastfeeding.

The baby shower will introduce the community to Shiloh Apothecary’s unique baby department, Shiloh Baby, which has health items for mom and baby before, during and after pregnancy, Stephanie said. (Photo gallery below)

Shiloh Apothecary offers customized post-delivery kits filled with helpful products to make life easier for the mom and new baby. These kits can be delivered to the mom and new baby at the hospital.

Shiloh Baby has breast pumps and replacement parts, products to help women get pregnant, vitamins, baby carriers, breastfeeding pillows and many other items.

Shiloh Baby places a big emphasis on carrying safe and chemical-free items that cannot found in other stores, Stephanie added. There is also a baby registry, said Stephanie, a mom of two young children.

There will be a 10 percent discount on baby items.

Those who like and share the post about the Saturday baby shower will be entered for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate.
