School Prayer Walk at City, County Schools Saturday

The public is invited to each school in the city and county Saturday from 9-11 a.m. to pray for God’s mercy, protection and wisdom for students, faculty and staff in the upcoming school year, said Kat Chapman, prayer coordinator for the Alcorn Baptist Association.

Prayer coordinators will be at each school in Corinth and Alcorn County to assist the public.

Chapman said she knows prayer works and hopes there is a big turnout. This will be the 18th year for the School Prayer Walk.

How is this legal, given the Constitution?

Moreover, if prayer works then why is Mississippi dead last in the US for public education?
