Three local residents have been charged with the recent burglary of a residence in Alcorn County, according to Sheriff Ben Caldwell.
On April 3 deputies responded to a residence on County Road 512 and discovered that several firearms had been stolen, a news release from the sheriff’s office says.
Witnesses had seen a red truck at the residence. Investigators located the suspects and recovered several of the firearms.
Charged in the burglary are Candida M. Olive, 31, of Glen; Lee P. Boggs, 30, of Corinth; and Dakota N. Bingham, 25, of Corinth.
Bingham was arrested by the Hardin and McNairy County Sheriff’s Office and is currently being held in the McNairy County Jail awaiting extradition. The investigation is ongoing, and other charges may be filed.
