5K Race Brings Runners to Downtown Corinth Saturday

The Austin’s Shoes Run With Rotary 5K race took place Saturday morning in downtown Corinth.

The race raises money for charities, and over the past 10 years has raised $156,000, said Race Director Greg Cooley. The race is now in its 11th year and is expected to raise about $12,000 to $15,000 this year.

There were 286 people who registered for the race. The first place male finisher was Thomas Ratliff, a Corinth High School senior, with a time of 18:07. The first place female finisher was Arlana McKinney of Guntown with a time of 22:51.

Race Directior Greg Cooley makes announcements to the runners.
