A female driving an SUV was transported by ambulance to Magnolia Regional Health Center after a rollover crash in the Glen area on Tuesday, officials said.
The wreck occurred just before noon on County Road 400 (Salem Road) near the intersection with County Road 430.
The female was the only person in the vehicle, and her injuries appeared to be non-life threatening, said Alcorn County Sheriff’s Deputy Shane Latch.
The SUV was traveling southbound on County Road 400 when the vehicle ran off the shoulder of the west side of the road, and the driver lost control, Latch said. It appeared the vehicle, which had a Tennessee license plate, rolled a couple of times.
The driver was conscious after the wreck and was still restrained in her seatbelt when help arrived, Latch said.
Fire departments from Glen, Biggersville and Farmington responded to the scene as well as Constable Wayne Duncan.
The wreck occurred in the Glen fire department’s service area.
