Federal Grants to Support Rural Healthcare

About $6.4 Million Available for Improved Patient Care

A new funding opportunity is available for up to 32 public or nonprofit healthcare providers in rural areas.

The goal of the federal program is to improve patient care in rural communities.

About $6.4 million is expected to be invested in the program.

It is called the Small Health Care Provider Quality Improvement Grant Program.

Applications will be accepted until April 22, 2019.
