Numerous members of the Alcorn Central High School Future Business Leaders of America this week advanced to the state leadership conference, which will be held in April in Jackson.
To advance to state, the club members had to place in the top six of their categories at the Northerm District Leadership Conference, which was held at Northeast Mississippi Community College.
The students took tests, gave speeches and designed models to showcase their business knowledge.

The State Leadership Conference will be held at the Marriot Downtown Jackson April 2-4. Students will be accompanied by their advisers: Twila Bridges, Angie Grisham and Heather Arnold. Individual and corporate sponsorships are welcome.
