Shooting Kills Two Monday Night in Corinth, Coroner Says

Two males were killed in a shooting in Corinth on Monday night, Alcorn County Coroner Jay Jones said.

Jones said the two males were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The shooting occurred outside a residence in the 1300 block of Tate Street, Jones said.

Jones said he was called to the scene at 11:53 p.m. and that the shooting occurred shortly before he was contacted.

Names and ages of the victims are not being released at this time.
