David Krzyzkowski of Corinth was enjoying the nice weather Tuesday afternoon as he took his dog Harley for a walk on Fillmore Street in downtown Corinth. Krzyzkowski said Harley was a rescue dog that he took in when she showed up at the fire department in the town of Walls in DeSoto County where he worked as a firefighter. Krzyzkowski, a U.S. Marine, is now a firefighter for the Toyota plant in Blue Springs and takes Harley for walks on his days off. He has had Harley about eight years. Wednesday and Thursday also call for sunny weather but with highs in the 40s.
