Funeral services for Mr. Wesley Durrell Mills, 82, of New Albany, Mississippi, will be 1 PM, Monday, December 3, 2018, at New Life Pentecostal Church in Ripley, Mississippi.
Bro. William Burcham and Bro. Stan Blalock will officiate. Interment will be in Tippah Memorial Gardens in Ripley. His family will receive guests from 6 – 8 PM on Saturday, December 1; 10 AM – 8 PM on Sunday, December 2; and beginning at 10 AM on Monday, December 2, and continuing until time for the service, all at New Life Pentecostal Church.
Mr. Mills was born in Alcorn County, Mississippi, to Hillie and Artie Stewart Mills on September 15, 1936. He retired from Benchcraft Furniture Corporation and was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Steven Mills, Jr., and one brother, Wayne Mills.
Those to carry on his memory includes his wife, Virginia Hancock Mills of New Albany, his children: Angelia Barnes, husband Ricky, of New Albany, Marilyn Hinson of Atwood, Tennessee, Ricky Mills, wife Reene, of Victoria, Virginia, Steven Mills, Sr. of Corinth, one step-daughter, Melissa Hunter, husband Ray, of Ripley, one brother, Harold Mills of Corinth, 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
