Lambert

A 33-year-old Corinth woman has been charged with aggravated assault and motor vehicle theft.

Kristy Lambert allegedly took possession of a male acquaintance’s vehicle at Corinth Inn & Suites on U.S. Highway 72 this month, according to Corinth Police Department Detective Capt. Dell Green.

The male reached into the vehicle in an attempt to stop Lambert, who allegedly “drove off dragging him through the parking lot,” Green added. “She left the scene in the vehicle, and he was transported to Magnolia (Regional Health Center) where he was treated and later released.”

The male had apparently received injuries, including head wounds, according to Green.

The vehicle was seen about a day later by an officer near U.S. Highway 72 and Norman Road. The officer stopped the vehicle, which was driven by Lambert, and she was taken into custody and held without bond, Green noted.
