I work for a lab in Memphis and if we were to secure a crime scene and place our bottle of water on an object in the crime scene we would be fired and if we were in the crime scene and on a cell phone we also would be fired …..No official business from a scene should be conducted via personal cell phone is what my boss says. And if I am using my cell phone then I am to excuse myself from the scene also the area is not too secure with the large man to the left of the site, I am sure he is a witness however he is being given information by the police of what happened by just watching them work.

I’m sorry but I dont think pictures like this should be posted out of respect for the family, the paper could wait until the blood was at least cleaned. That’s someone’s babys blood. I understand that the need to report the news but I think that this is a bit much.
