Two Alcorn County residents were arrested Saturday on charges of felony credit card fraud, according to Corinth Police.
Chris Gillette, 32, and Rachel Ray, 25, were arrested on warrants Saturday at their County Road 226 residence by the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office, Corinth Police Department Capt. Dell Green said.
The alleged victim reported that her wallet was stolen Sept. 26 while shopping at a Corinth business, Green said.
Purchases totaling about $1,000 were made at another Corinth store right after the wallet was stolen, Green said.
Police obtained surveillance footage to identify Ray and Gillette as the suspects, Green noted.
Ray and Gillette are each charged with one count of felony credit card fraud.
