Nearly 1,000 treatments delivered in first year

Magnolia Regional Health Center recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of the Inpatient Dialysis Unit within the hospital.

“The past year has been a game-changer for healthcare in Corinth,” said Dr. Greg Hale, nephrologist at Magnolia Nephrology Clinic. “We have truly been able to transform lives and keep patients and families here in Corinth that would normally have to travel great distances to receive the same treatment.”

Nearly 1,000 treatments have been provided to patients suffering from kidney disease over the past year at the Inpatient Dialysis Unit.

“We are extremely proud of the efforts of Dr. Hale and his team,” said Ronny Humes, CEO at Magnolia Regional Health Center. “By continuing to provide state-of-the-art and timely medical services such as inpatient dialysis care, we hope that we can better serve the patients in our community and region.”

The Inpatient Dialysis Unit at MRHC has four patient bays, a state-of-the-art monitoring system, and personal TVs, offering a quality center for treatments for patients.

“I am excited to continue to see the impact the unit is going to have on our patients’ lives,” said Hale. “We are proud of how far we have come, but we know there is much work to be done to continue to fight the effects of kidney disease within our population of patients.”

The unit is staffed by Fresenius Kidney Care, the leading dialysis provider in the world.
