An Alcorn County woman was recently arrested on an indictment from more than five years ago.
Deborah Denise Sipes, 64, of County Road 156, was arrested Aug. 31 on the indictment, according to Alcorn County Circuit Court.
The indictment alleges that Sipes set fire to an occupied dwelling house at the Fort Robinette Apartments in Corinth on or about Feb. 10, 2013.
Sipes was arraigned Monday in circuit court, and John Windsor of Corinth was appointed as her public defender.
She was released from Alcorn County jail on a $20,000 bond Aug. 31, according to circuit court.
Her attorney was not immediately available for comment Wednesday.
