The building where an adult entertainment club in Corinth was located remains vacant, a property representative said this week.

Harry Patel said the 1500 U.S. Highway 72 W. building where the Cherries Gentleman’s Club was located would be a good spot for a “sports bar and grill.”

Patel noted that he did not operate the Cherries Gentleman’s Club but just leased the space. The club closed a few months ago.

Patel also owns the Corinth Inn & Suites adjacent to the site.

He thinks the former Cherries location would be a good spot for a bar and grill because it has a kitchen and is along a busy highway.

There have been a few people express interest in the 7,500-square-foot facility, but no one has moved forward with leasing it yet, Patel said.
