Mr. Ted Cook, age 63, of Corinth, passed from this life on Friday, August 10, 2018, at his residence.
A celebration of his life was held Saturday at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church, in Walnut.
Bro. Larry Dollarofficiated the service, and interment followed in the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 22, 1955, to Mansfield and Ann Null Cook, he was a mechanic by trade. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church and the Hatchie Cruisers.
To carry on his memory he leaves his sons: Chris Cook and his wife Angie of Atoka, Tennessee, Nathan Cook and his wife Lynndsi of Memphis, Tennessee, and Tony Hopkins and his wife Jennifer of Walnut, Mississippi; his daughters: Leann Matthews and her husband Dustin of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Kayla Hensley and her husband Allen of Blue Mountain, Mississippi, Raven Wilbanks and her husband Brad of Walnut, Mississippi, and Brittany Smith and her wife Destiney of Louisiana; his brothers: Roger Cook of Kossuth Mississippi, Bill Cook of Memphis, Tennessee, Donald Cook of Kossuth, Tennessee, Fred Cook of Sardis, Mississippi, Glenn Cook of Kossuth, Mississippi, and Gene Cook of Kossuth, Mississippi; and a sister Joyce Cook of Corinth, Mississippi; fifteen grandchildren: Hanna Wilbanks, Bradlee Wilbanks, Braxtyn Wilbanks, Jazmine Wilbanks, Bentley Wilbanks, Jaeda Rogers, Braylee Morrison, River Haze Hensley, Gracie Hopkins, Trey Hopkins, Presley Matthews, Noah Matthews, Lindsey Cook, Dakota Cook, and Miah Cook.
