Kroger on Wednesday launched a new online shopping platform that allows customers to have groceries and other products delivered directly to their homes at no cost.
Initially, Kroger Ship will only be offered in Nashville, Cincinnati, Houston and Louisville markets. But Kroger expects to expand the service in other markets in the next few months.
Delivery is free on orders over $35, and $4.99 for orders less than that.
“Kroger Ship brings together the best of our digital, technology, logistics, 84.51°, merchandising, and Our Brands teams to deliver our customers convenient and curated food inspiration,” said Yael Cosset, Kroger’s chief digital officer.
