A Spanish-language church recently relocated into downtown Corinth across the street from the Alcorn County Courthouse.

The Arbol de Vida, or Tree of Life, church opened at 702 E. Waldron St. at the start of June, said Leslie Betancourt. She is the daughter of pastor Nicolas Betancourt.

Previously, the church was located at 2005 E. Shiloh Road for about six years, she added.

Services at Arbol De Vida are delivered in Spanish and held Sunday at 11 a.m. and Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Leslie Betancourt said the downtown location offers more space for the church, which is Christian.
