Sentencing Set for July 16

Michael Shane Casabella on Thursday pleaded guilty to three charges in Alcorn County Circuit Court, according to District Attorney John Weddle.
Casabella pleaded guilty to one count each of fondling, sexual battery and child enticement, Weddle said.
He had been indicted on additional charges.
Casabella is set to be sentenced July 16 in Alcorn County Circuit Court, Weddle added.
Casabella entered his guilty pleas in front of Circuit Court Judge Jim Pounds.
Casabella was 37 years old when he was indicted in April 2016.
The indictment alleged he was in a position of trust or authority as a school administration official.
North Corinth Christian Academy was mentioned in the indictment.
