The Corinth Police Department has made a number of drug arrests this month.

Cindy Collins of Shiloh, Tenn. was arrested June 16 and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

Collins was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by Corinth Police at the intersection of Cruise and Madison Streets at about 3:10 a.m. for failure to use a turn signal, police said.

Collins, 44, had a warrant for her arrest, and a search of her person found approximately 24 grams of methamphetamine, Corinth Police Detective Capt. Dell Green said.

In a separate case, Corinth Police arrested 35-year-old Corinth resident Brandon Campbell on June 8 for the felony charge of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, Green said.

The Corinth Police narcotics unit obtained a search warrant for a Homestead Drive residence as part of an investigation. Authorities allegedly seized 135 grams of marijuana and two handguns, Green said.
