The Alcorn County Circuit Clerk’s Office will be open special hours on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon for people to cast absentee ballots.
Saturday is the deadline to vote absentee in the June 5 primary election.
Those who vote in the primary must declare Republican or Democratic party and will only get to vote for candidates in the party they select.
The primary election includes candidates for U.S. Senate and U.S. House, although the Republican and Democrat House candidates are each unopposed.

The circuit clerk’s office is located in the Alcorn County Courthouse in downtown Corinth.
