A Celebration of the life of Mr. Jerry Wayne Crum, Age 71, of Walnut, will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018, 11 AM, at the Hatchie Chapel Church, CR 609, Walnut, Mississippi. Bro. Doc Shelton and Bro. Floyd Crum will officiate. Interment will follow in the Hatchie Chapel Church Cemetery.
Mr. Crum departed this life on Friday, May 25, 2018 at his home. He was born on August 22, 1946, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to the late Dewey and Velma Stewart Crum. He was married to the late Lena Faye Patrick Crum for 52 years. He was a member of Hatchie Chapel Church and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He worked as an electrician for IBEW.
To carry on his memory he leaves his daughter, Dianne Spencer (Shane), his son, Shelby Wayne Crum (Lisa), a brother, Leroy Crum (Elizabeth), seven grand children: Jonathan Spencer, Alivya Pannell, Lydia Rowell, Dillon Davis, Tanner Davis, Chelsea Russell, Caleb Crum, Jason Tutor, and Hiven Anderson; 10 great-grandchildren: Hannah Spencer, Hayden Spencer, Houston Spencer, Delilah Pannell, Kayleigh Pannell, Sykes Rowell, Payslie Russell, Paxton Russell, Johnna Adams, and Peyton Anderson.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, a daughter, Catherine Davis , brothers: Creston E. Crum, M. J. Crum, and A. D. Crum; sisters: Doris Irene Reynolds, and Mary Ruth Mitchell; two infant siblings, and a grandson, Christopher Spencer.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, 5 – 9 PM, at the Hatchie Chapel Church.
