Alcorn County Star Students Honored

The Star Students from each of the three Alcorn County high schools have big future plans.
Star Students achieve the highest ACT scores in their class.
Damien Harbin is the Kossuth High School Star Student. He plans to attend Ole Miss and major in criminal justice with a specialty in homeland security.
Emilee Little is the Biggersville High School Star Student. She plans to enroll at Northeast Mississippi Community College to obtain her registered nurse license and later attend the University of North Alabama to study forensic pathology.
Chris Miller is the Alcorn Central High School Star Student. Miller plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in biomedical engineering and then apply to medical school to be an emergency room doctor or trauma surgeon.
