Burgers & Dogs at the intersection of Cass Street and U.S. Highway 72 in Corinth is a new addition to the local restaurant scene.

Owner Erica Will said Burgers & Dogs prides itself on serving quality food in a clean and family-friendly environment.

The hamburgers are freshly prepared, and the vegetables are chopped on site to give the customer an excellent dining experience, Will said. She wants Burgers & Dogs to stand out by the high quality of the food it serves.

“We try to get the best (ingredients),” Will said. “We want to be proud of what we serve.”

The restaurant makes and seasons its burgers rather than using pre-shaped, frozen patties. Numerous customers have said how much they enjoy Burgers & Dogs, which already has repeat customers after just one month in business.

And there are more options than burgers and dogs. Philly cheese steak, chilli cheese fries, fried chicken sandwich and chicken wings are some of the other menu items. The fried bologna sandwiches have two thick slices of beef served on toast, and the BLTs have fresh tomato and thick cut bacon.

Hamburgers and hotdogs can be dressed in numerous ways for no extra cost except for the bacon. Other than fresh vegetables, some other toppings are hot sauce, chili, sour cream, sauerkraut, cole slaw and jalapenos.

A hotdog loaded with all those toppings can be filling, and most of the meals, which include seasoned fries and a drink, cost less than $6.

The shaded outside deck provides comfortable seating in a convenient location. The restaurant is backed away from the highway and has a peaceful atmosphere. It is a good spot for a family to enjoy a meal together or for business people to unwind during their lunch hour. Others may just want to enjoy a cup of coffee and an ice cream in the mid-afternoon.

Food is cooked as the orders come in to ensure customers get a warm meal that they will enjoy every time, she said. The restaurant keeps up a very clean atmosphere and has an “A” grade rating from the state.

Will always thought it would be fun to own a hamburger restaurant so she made it happen. The Burgers & Dogs building boasts an Americana look with several U.S. flags in the front. The building received a fresh paint job with red trim, and new kitchen equipment was added.

Will wanted the building to have a patriotic appearance because she thinks it is important for people to be proud of their county. She is proud to have an American owned and operated business.

She will deliver orders to people’s cars, and she smiled as she recalled one customer who yelled an order from the car.

Burgers & Dogs is open Monday to Friday from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. for lunch and 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. for supper. Starting next Saturday, April 21, Burgers & Dogs will also be open Saturdays.
