Blue Mountain College Men’s Basketball has announced the signing of Corinth High School’s Will Gardner.

Gardner, a 2016 state champion, becomes the first player to sign under the helm of BMC head coach Jermael Bingham.

The versatile 6’2″ senior helped lead the Warriors to a 23-10 season in 2017-18.  He also owns a 2016 state championship, is a three-time division champ with the Warriors, four-time Alcorn County champ and was named the MVP of the Caldwell County Classic.

During his senior season he averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and a blocked shot.

In 2018, Gardner was named to the Division 1-4A boy’s team and was also on the All-Alcorn County team.

“It’s a blessing to have the opportunity to play the game I love while continuing my education at Blue Mountain College,” Gardner stated.

BMC head coach Jermael Bingham commented, “We’re excited to have Will on board.  He’s a really talented guy who will bring some depth to the team.  He comes from a winning program and background, so we believe he’ll bring that virtue with him to BMC.
