Services to celebrate the life of Charles Irvin Moore, 65, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Indian Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home.
Charles died on March 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born on February 9, 1953 in Corinth to the late Charles Ellis and Jewell Derryberry Moore. He worked professionally in graphic arts and as a painter. He enjoyed cooking, grilling out and fishing in his pastime.
He is survived by his daughter, Catrina Moore Smith and son-in-law, Dennis; grandchildren, Trevor Moore Smith and Tayton Moore Smith all of Corinth; sister, Susie Clingan (Tim) of Iuka; brothers, Billy Childress of Chewalla, Tony Davis (Peggy) of Chewalla, Alvia Moore (Patricia) of Guys, Kenny Moore (Evonne) of Corinth; also survived by, Jeanne Hudson, Jerry, Jimmy, Bettie, Ann and Lisa Langston; the mother of his children, Diane Sims and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Charles Donavin Moore; brother, Jerry Wayne Moore; sisters, Joyce Vandiver, Janice Childress and significant other, Linda Langston.
