Bascomb “willfully, unlawfully and feloniously” endangered the child by providing the meth to the minor, the indictment charges.

Furthermore, Bascomb provided the meth “with intent to unlawfully contribute to the delinquency and neglect” of the child, it added.

Count II of the indictment alleges that Ashley Nicole Hooper, 26, of Booneville, had inappropriate physical contact with the child around the same time.

The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office investigated the case.

    It’s amazing why these young women want a child! They just refuse to grow up around Corinth!

      What part of the alleged child molestation do you think was the result of the female defendant refusing to grow up?

    It’s amazing these young boys would do this sort of thing is what I think you mean.

      @Tammy
      Did you even read the article? Specifically this part:
      Quote: “Count II of the indictment alleges that Ashley Nicole Hooper, 26, of Booneville, had inappropriate physical contact with the child around the same time.” End quote.

      While it does appear that this was the same child that was allegedly given the meth by the male defendant, there is no indication that his actions contributed to the alleged “inappropriate touching” that the female committed.

      The scary and disheartening aspect of all this is that you and Frank (the person who you were responding to) compose part of the jury pool that could decide the fate of these two alleged criminals!!!

    The problem with illegal drugs in this area is that those drugs are not killing off the drug abusers fast enough.

      Heartless…

      Nevertheless, you’d hope its not one of your own. (But don’t quote me on that)…
