A Corinth man was recently indicted for allegedly providing methamphetamine to a child under 13 years old.
Zachery Louis Bascomb, 30, was indicted by an Alcorn County Grand Jury for the alleged incident. The crime allegedly occurred on Oct. 13, 2016.
Bascomb “willfully, unlawfully and feloniously” endangered the child by providing the meth to the minor, the indictment charges.
Furthermore, Bascomb provided the meth “with intent to unlawfully contribute to the delinquency and neglect” of the child, it added.
Count II of the indictment alleges that Ashley Nicole Hooper, 26, of Booneville, had inappropriate physical contact with the child around the same time.
The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office investigated the case.
