Corinth Man Charged With Six Counts of Robbery

BOONEVILLE – A Corinth man wanted for a series of robberies in Prentiss County was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Service in Alcorn County.


Tomango Ali Barton, 18 of Corinth, was arrested Feb. 16 and charged with six counts of armed robbery and one count of burglary after a reported home invasion robbery from early January. The robbery occurred at a residence on MLK Drive in Booneville.

Barton is being held in the Prentiss County Jail on a $250,000 bond.

According to Booneville Police Chief Michael Ramey, officials are still looking for two other suspects connected with the same case – Coreno Jaquin Pruitt, 19 of Lee County; and Quayneshia Shantea Boyd, 25 of Alcorn County
