C.C. Counts

A graveside service for C.C. Counts, 86, is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Corinth City Cemetery.

Mr. Counts died on February 10, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born on March 28, 1931 to the late Columbus Criner and Sarah Vearl Johnston Counts. He was a graduate of Corinth High School and later obtained his mechanical engineering degree in 1957 from Auburn University. Mr. Counts was a Korean War veteran and a member of The Sons of the American Revolution. He had a successful professional career as an engineer and retired from TVA. In his spare time he was a skilled craftsman but what he enjoyed the most was genealogy and studying his family’s history.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Campbell Counts.

He is survived by his sister, Effie Doles; nephews, Steve Doles and Robert Counts and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
