Two House Fires in Seven Hours Hit Farmington, Glen Area

Volunteer firefighters had a very busy Sunday morning as they responded to two separate house fires in the Farmington and Glen areas within seven hours of each other.

The first fire occurred at around 3 a.m. at 30 County Road 173. No one was injured in that blaze, but the house was a complete loss, said Farmington Fire Chief Jeremy Childers. The cause was unknown.

Farmington and Glen firefighters responded to another house fire at 49 County Road 255 at about 10 a.m. Sunday.  Details on that fire were not immediately available since firefighters were actively working the scene.
