Whitfield Nursing Home of Corinth this month received an “A” grade from the Mississippi State Department of Health on its food facility inspection.
In fact, Whitfield Nursing Home, 2101 E. Proper St., has scored an “A” from the state health department on every food facility inspection since the grading system started more than eight years ago, records show.
For instance, last year Whitfield Nursing Home was inspected three times by the state health department and achieved an “A” each time.
Since the grading system began, Whitfield has received 30 “A” grades.
Food establishments in Mississippi are inspected a minimum of one to four times annually.
Other local establishments that were recently inspected are:
Quality Inn, 2101 Highway 72 W., Grade-A;
Crossroads Quickstop, 2796 S. Harper Road, Grade-A; and
Burgers and Dogs, 1208 S. Cass St., Grade-A.
