UPDATE: No Injuries in Glen House Fire

No one was hurt in a fire that destroyed a house Thursday morning in Glen, an official said.

Multiple departments responded to the blaze at around 7:30 a.m. on County Road 322, a short distance off of U.S. Highway 72 East.

The fire was nextdoor to where another house fire occurred on the night of Dec. 13.

The fire Thursday morning was at 9 County Road 322 and the one in December was at 11 County Road 322, said Trevin Humbers, Glen Fire Department’s safety and training officer.

A cause of the fire Thursday morning had not been determined, Humbers said.

Glen was assisted Thursday morning by fire departments from Farmington, Biggersville and Corinth. The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office and ACE Power also responded.

The Thursday fire occurred at 9 County Road 322 in Glen, an official said.
